There’re more than a dozen vision exercises out there that you can try to improve your vision. A number of them are unquestionably useful, some are only OK, and others are simply a waste of time. How are you going to know which is which?

That’s my puzzle 2 years ago. Ever since then, I’ve deliberately use each the vision exercises I’m aware of and recorded my progress. How did they fare? My conclusion shocked me.

One fifth of the vision therapy I tried was liable for 80% of my progress. I make note of these eye exercises and combined them to what I named “the fundamentals”. These eye exercises, I think, are the basic of any vision improvement regime.

In July 1968, John B. Calhoun, an American research psychologist, once did a very splendid experiment on the effect of open space on your mind. The experiment, of course, involved rats, not people but his outcome were widely regarded to be a applicable. Here is what he did.
